How to do it

  1. Open Create TAR / 7Z / GZ Archive and drop files or folders.
  2. Choose the format and name the archive.
  3. Set the compression level (0 to 9, 6 by default): higher is smaller but slower.
  4. Click Create Archive. It's saved as Archive.tar.gz next to the first item, or in the folder you choose.
