Good to know

• Decoding only reads the token. Unless you verify the signature with the right secret, the contents could have been written by anyone.
• Only HMAC signatures (HS256, HS384, HS512) can be verified. RSA, ECDSA and EdDSA tokens are decoded but their signatures aren't checked.
• Encrypted tokens (JWE) can't be read without their key; only the header is shown.
• Your token and secret stay on this computer and aren't stored.
