PDFs & Documents · Rotate PDF

Rotate a whole PDF or just some pages, on your computer

Quick answer

Open Toolfox → Rotate PDF, drop your PDFs, choose 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counterclockwise, optionally list pages, and click Rotate. Rotation is stored as page metadata, so nothing is re-rendered and quality is unchanged. It runs entirely on your computer (Mac, Windows or Linux). Files are never uploaded.

Rotate PDF FAQ

Does rotating a PDF reduce quality?

No. Only page metadata changes; content isn't re-encoded, and bookmarks, links and form fields are kept.

What if a page is already rotated?

The rotation adds to what the page already has, so rotating a page that's already turned 90° by another 90° makes it upside down.

Is Rotate PDF in Toolfox free?

Yes. Rotate PDF is one of 57 tools in Toolfox, a free app for Mac, Windows and Linux with no account, ads, limits or watermarks.

Does Rotate PDF upload my files?

No. Toolfox processes files on your own computer and works offline; your files are never uploaded.
